Nevertheless, current ES technologies show, as a common issue, an excessive capital cost, which prevents them from being implemented on a large scale.
DTU Wind Energy and DEIF will then develop such an application - a hybrid storage system integrated into a wind turbine - and demonstrate it in our V27 wind turbine at DTU Risø Campus.
